There is a checklist of items that we require owners to have to ensure that our guests get a vacation experience that our brand has come to command and our guests have come to expect. Here’s a look at the ultimate amenity guide and what you should expect in your vacation rentals on Hilton Head Island at Beachside Getaway.  Be sure to check each property before you book and verify that each property has these items. Not all properties will have the exact same thing! 

1. Comfortable and Well-Equipped Bedrooms

A restful sleep is the foundation of any great vacation. Our owners ensure that their units and homes have: 

·       Quality mattresses and linens. We encourage our owners to invest in quality products so vacationers will leave rave reviews. We also encourage owners to update pillows, mattresses, and bedding regularly to keep it fresh.  No vacation renter wants outdated sleeping items! 

·       Ample storage space (closets, dressers)

·       Fresh towels and extra bedding. We ask our owners to stock the closets with a few extra so that you have some on hand. 

·       Blackout curtains or blinds for better sleep.  Not all units or homes have this but we strongly suggest them for our upscale, beachfront vacation rentals. 

2. Modern Kitchen Facilities

Whether you’re a gourmet chef or prefer simple meals, a fully equipped kitchen is essential:

·       Refrigerator and freezer

·       Oven and stove

·       Microwave

·       Coffee maker and kettle

·       Dishwasher

·       Basic cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. We find that our owners are often happy to stock the kitchen with extras like blenders, crockpots, electric mixers, as it makes their guest happy and they leave great reviews, encouraging repeat bookings! 

·       Pantry staples or condiments. Some (but not all) of our vacation rentals leave behind salt, pepper, coffee filters and more. 

3. Inviting Living Spaces

A cozy living room encourages relaxation:

·       Comfortable sofas and chairs

·       Smart TV with streaming services

·       High-speed Wi-Fi

·       Books, games, or entertainment options

·       Game rooms.  Many of our vacation rentals are equipped with game rooms that have foosball, ping pong, billiards, and even movie theaters. 

4. Clean and Functional Bathrooms

A well-maintained bathroom makes a big difference:

·       Hot water and good water pressure – our properties are inspected regularly to ensure both. 

·       Fresh towels and toiletries. Some of our vacation rentals will have complimentary soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. 

·       Hairdryers

·       Toilet paper and cleaning supplies. 

5. Outdoor Space and Recreation

If the rental includes outdoor amenities, it adds significant value:

·       Patio or balcony with seating

·       BBQ grill

·       Many of our vacation rentals have pools or hot tubs 

·       Garden or yard for kids and pets – some of our vacation rentals are pet-friendly!

·       Outdoor games and sports equipment

6. Climate Control and Heating/Cooling

Comfort in any weather:

·       Air conditioning or fans. A couple of our properties have outdoor misters for the extreme heat! 

·       Heating system

·       Fireplace or wood stove (for colder climates)

7. Convenience and Safety Features

Ensure a worry-free stay with:

·       Secure locks and entry system

·       Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors – this is standard in ALL of our properties. 

·       First aid kit

·       Parking spaces or garage. Be sure to check the property to see how many cars your able to park at the location! 

·       Washer and dryer

8. Additional Luxuries

For an extra touch of comfort:

·       Sound system or high-quality speakers
