Be sure to check what time the sun sets and then head down to Harbor Town, located in Sea Pines Resort, about an hour earlier.  Grab a cocktail outside at Harbourside and walk with it towards the lighthouse, taking in the people, the marina and the beautiful boats, and the overall atmosphere. Beach Walk or Nature Walk 

Hilton Head Island is known for our beautiful beaches and walking the beach is a great activity to connect with your loved ones.  Starting from Coligny Plaza, you can walk for miles down North Forest Beach, all while watching dolphin and taking in the beautiful beaches.  The sand is firmly packed so many people also choose to ride bikes on the beach. Just be careful which direction the wind is blowing. If you have the wind at your back, biking can be smooth and easy.  If you are riding into the wind, it can be a lot harder! 

Visiting Pinckney Island for a nature walk is also another great idea to be outdoors and spend time with your special someone. There are 14 miles of trails and an abundance of wildlife to see! Visit to learn more!

Special Date Night Dinner 

When you are ready for a special date night dinner, there are a couple of options to consider on Hilton Head island for a romantic evening.

Sage Room: The Sage Room is a well-known hot spot on Hilton Head Island and has traditional American fair with some Asian inspired elements.  Mostly you’ll find eclectic meat and seafood dishes like braised beef short rib, almond encrusted tuna, Chilean seabass, and tomahawk pork chop. The dark, moody atmosphere is perfect for a date night. Entrees are $30 - $62 each.

Nunzio: Italian fare is served in a fine dining atmosphere here at Nunzio, now one of the Top 10% restaurants in the world, according to their website. Visit to view their exquisite menu and make a reservation.

Michael Anthony’s: Celebrating 23 years on Hilton Head, Michael Anthony’s is a premiere culinary destination.  With pasta made in-house daily and a chic, inviting atmosphere, we love this restaurant for a date night! 

Sunrise coffee

Check the sunrise schedule and head to Palmetto Bay marina just before dawn.  Grab a cup of coffee on your way from the local Starbucks and head on down to the dock.  You’ll be able to catch the sunrise at Palmetto Bay Marina and then head up to Sunrise Café for breakfast.  What a great start to your day with your special someone!
