Sea Turtle Patrol Nest Dedication Fundraiser

Returns April 2024

We are huge supporters of local organization, Sea Turtle Patrol, that is SC permitted with a DNR license to help with sea turtle conservancy.  Teams of 2-3 Patrol members ride the miles of Hilton Head Beaches from May to October to keep predators out, the beaches clear, inventory nests, ensure homeowner lights are out, and even rescue stranded hatchlings.  At Beachside Getaway, we are captivated by these creatures who once they have reached reproductive maturity, return every 3 years to the same spot.  Only 1 in 100 hatchlings will become full grown adults!

To give back and help with sea turtle conservancy, you can purchase and dedicate a nest. This is a great way to educate little ones about sea turtles!  Dedicate a nest starting in April 2024 by visiting
