Thank you for choosing Beachside Getaway for your Hilton Head Island vacation. Our goal is to provide a high quality home for you and your family to enjoy during your beachside getaway.

RENTAL RATES

Weekly rates do not include applicable sales and accommodations taxes (10%), reservation fees, damage protection or travel insurance. Rates and fees are subject to change. Rental rates and service fee include:

  • Departure cleaning
  • Bed and bath linen includes 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1wash cloth per person
  • Bath "starter" amenities per bathroom- 2 rolls of toilet tissue, 1 bath bar and 1 box of facial tissue
  • Kitchen/Laundry starter amenities- 1 liquid dish washing soap, 1 packet of dish washing detergent, 1box of laundry detergent and one roll of paper towels
  • If you are in a gated community 1 car pass per reservation is provided. If additional car passes are needed you can contact the office (additional fees may apply)

DEPOSIT:

When you make your reservation a deposit of 50% of the rental rate, taxes and fees is required to confirm the reservation. Deposit can be paid by Visa, MasterCard or Discover, when possible check payments are preferred. Deposits are held in escrow in an FDIC insured, interest bearing escrow account which guest agrees to waive their right to this interest earned.

BALANCE DUE:

Your balance due must be paid 30 days prior to your arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We recognize that there are situations when you must change your plans. When possible, we will try to accommodate you. We cannot make any changes to your reservation unless we receive it in writing. Any and all changes to reservations, all cancellations and transfers, even within the same rental period or for the same Property, are subject to a $50 administrative fee. In cases of cancellations, no refunds will be made until the cancelled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the Property is not re-rented, all monies paid shall be forfeited as damages. If the cancelled period is re-rented, all monies will be refunded subject to the $50 administrative fee as stated above. Transfers will be accommodated when possible. In case of cancellations, transfers occurring from a higher rental rate to a lower rental rate will remain at the higher rental rate unless the original higher rental rate week is re-rented and confirmed. Please keep in mind that any changes to reservations can be best handled if we are notified immediately of your change of plans. In the case that the Property is sold and the week reserved is no longer available, we will refund any monies paid towards the reservation.

CHECK-IN:

Check-in time is 4:00 PM. When planning your arrival, make sure it is no earlier than 4:00 PM unless otherwise advised by the office. The property and its amenities will not be available prior to that time. Every effort is made to have your property cleaned and ready by 4:00 PM, but it is not guaranteed. After hours check-in can be made with prior notification.

CHECK-OUT:

Check-out time is 10:00 AM. The home should be free of garbage, secured and keys returned to our office at 1Corpus Christi Place, Ste 115, Hilton Head, SC 29928. Refunds are not issued for early check ?out or no shows.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Is offered by Beachside Getaway through CSA Travel Protection. When you purchase trip cancellation insurance, you protect your travel investment if an unforeseen event such as illness or mandatory hurricane evacuation should occur. Trip cancellation insurance is a % of your total rental and is highly recommended. VACATION RENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION:

Beachside Getaway provides rental guests peace of mind for accidental damage during your stay. The protection will cover up to$3000.00 for REPORTED accidental damage. Damage must be reported before your departure. The protection plan does not cover malicious or intentional damage. Guests will be responsible for any expense in excess of $3000.00. Guest agrees to terms for any damages to the dwelling or grounds and to the furnishings, including attorney's fees, caused by the guest's negligence, or the persons in the guest's party or their guests, which occur during the guests occupancy.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

Guest reserving and occupying dwelling must be at least 25 years of age. The person signing the contract must occupy the premises the entire length of the reservation.

OCCUPANCY:

The occupancy on each accommodation is limited to and will not exceed the number of persons indicated on this rental agreement. Exceeding maximum occupancy violates the terms and conditions of this agreement.

PROPERTY USE:

Any use of the dwelling other than the residential use during a family vacation must be approved by the Agent. If the dwelling is to be used for any event, such as weddings, reception, or large gatherings, the guest agrees to submit a request for approval to the agent and adhere to the agents determination on the request. If the agent approves the event, the guest may be required to pay an additional deposit. If the guest misrepresents an event to the agent, the guest agrees that the agent may refuse occupancy or have the dwelling vacated and the guest will not be entitled to a refund.

POOL HEATING:

Pool heating is available on certain properties at an additional charge and must be arranged at least 14 days prior to your arrival. The charge will be based on the season and prevailing rates at the time of your rental. Due to unforeseen mechanical problems with heating of pools, we will refund unused heat fee, but no adjustment will be made to rental rate.

PET POLICY:

Pets are not permitted in our homes and villas unless otherwise stated. If guest is found in violation of this Policy reserves the right to immediately cancel your rental reservation and occupancy of the dwelling. Guest will forfeit all monies for the balance of their stay and incur a minimum penalty of $250. Properties that allow pets are limited to 2 dogs, 50 pounds or less and will be charged an additional pet fee.
