18 Gannett Street was the PERFECT place for our annual family vacation on HHI. The home was thoughtfully designed and very tastefully decorated. Everything was immaculately clean when we arrived and check in was a breeze! We were within steps of a beach access point which made it a great place for us to stay with the kids that frequently come back to the house for naps. The space in the home was all we could have wished for - the primary suite had its own side of the main level and was very spacious! Other bedrooms had great space and allowed for our family of 6 adults + kids to fit very comfortably. The pool was the cherry on top, we LOVED having private access to our own pool with the lovely water feature! The outdoor furniture was comfortable and practical and allowed for us to spend our time where we love the most - outside! I would 100% recommend Gannett Street to anyone looking for a great vacation rental. Not to mention any of Beachside Getaway's properties, they are fantastic!!

The house was fantastic—tucked away among the trees and beautifully landscaped, it felt like a peaceful and private escape. This was our first time not staying oceanfront in Hilton Head, and honestly, we didn’t miss it. The beach was just a few steps away! Being in the Forest Beach area is a wonderful place to be—what a beautiful area to walk or ride bikes around. Inside, everything was fresh, crisp, and beautifully decorated with light, airy tones and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to cook in, and the oversized fridge came in especially handy for our group. The kids loved the bunk room, and everyone agreed the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved that the layout gave everyone enough space to spread out and relax. The pool was the perfect size and totally private, and we especially loved ending our nights with a nightcap out front—it was so peaceful and cozy. The whole vibe of the house was serene and calming. A big thank you to Quinn, who is always a pleasure to work with, and to Kevin, who even checked in midweek to make sure we were doing well. This is our third time booking with Beachside Getaways, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. They’re consistently helpful, friendly, and trustworthy—what you see is truly what you get… but even better!

This house is a beautifully decorated, spotless, and serene beach getaway! Very upscale decor and thoughtfully curated accessories. Love, love, the white linens on the beds. Kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances are gorgeous. We spent a lot of time on the pool deck area sofas and lounges. The location is perfect! Close to the beach, close to Coligny. We rent properties once or twice each year on HHI. We would absolutely rent this house again without a doubt. We were impressed when the Beachside Getaway team reached out upon our arrival to make sure everything was as it should be. It was!

We spent spring break at this gorgeous home with 3 families, that included 5 adults and 7 kids. We had more than enough space and the kids loved the pool The house was spotlessly clean with the most beautiful decor and attention to detail. The beds were SO comfortable and the showers had amazing water pressure. The towels, both bathroom and beach, and sheets were perfect! It was the easiest and quickest walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. We were able to walk to groceries and restaurants. We fell in love with Pool Bar Jim’s for lunch and cocktails. All 3 families agreed it was a 10/10 and would come back without hesitation! HHI is a dream.

The home was as advertised. It was perfect for my family on 8 and 1 dog that visited. The home was very well kept and in a great location. Great home for my family Thanksgiving vacation. Great location and delivered as advertised. Will be going back! Quinn was our main point of contact and he kept us well informed.

18 Gannet in HHI was the PERFECT vacation! Hard to believe that the home was even more beautiful than anticipated! The Beachside team created an absolute oasis just steps from the beach. The interior is impeccably decorated to create a modern and warm beach atmosphere with luxurious touches throughout the home. The waterfall feature within the pool, succulent wall and fully fenced in deck area creates a delightfully private environment. The pool is a great size for relaxing. You are a stone's throw from the beach and walking/biking distance from the shops at Coligny Plaza. The Beachside Getaway team was beyond hospitable from start to finish - Quinn swiftly answered all questions in advance and Merrie reached out during our stay to offer any assistance. Thank you all! My family (3 adult couples) have been vacationing in HHI for the last 15+ years and we were SO HAPPY with this rental - will absolutely be back and cannot recommend this gem enough!

We had an amazing trip in Hilton Head for spring break this year! We rented a newly renovated house and it was beautiful! Beachside Getaway was extremely accommodating whenever we needed anything. I mostly worked with Quinn, who was very responsive and kind. We plan to book with them again for next year. I highly recommend booking your vacation through Beachside Getaway.

We so enjoyed our stay at 18 Gannet! It was both spacious and cozy! The pool was so nice, with its little waterfall, and we enjoyed reading in what we called the “observation deck”, the room up the spiral stairs.

We had our annual family vacation at 18 Gannet St. The house easily accommodated our party of 11 people. The pool was great and there was plenty of room at the dining table and in the living room for all of us to eat and relax together. We had a great week.

This home was perfect for our family! We had 4 adults, 3 kids and a dog, and there was more than enough space for everyone. Looks exactly as pictured, so clean, bright and spacious. The pool was so enjoyable. Also the location could not have been better. Steps from the beach and a short bike ride over to Coligny. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful rental. Thoughtfully decorated. We loved our stay - 1 minute to the beach, quiet street, beautiful walk or bike to restaurants, shops, etc. Comfortable beds. The pool was great and we appreciated the child gate to enter the pool area. Beachside was a wonderful host - checked in every few days to see how things were going. Kids loved the pool. Would 100% return and recommend to others looking for a memorable stay!

This place is amazing. It slept 6 adults and 2 kids very comfortably. The walk to the beach is easy especially for Hilton Head. This place was an amazing vacation home.

Great home off the beach. Decorating is beautiful. Easy walk to the beach. No views nor privacy out the windows but if you don't care and want a great home for extended family and kids at a great price then this one is great choice.

Great house, close to the beach and managed by great people. We loved the layout of the house and it's proximity to the beach and especially since it was dog friendly. Quinn and team were amazing to work with before, during, and after and we have already booked the same house for next year! Will return again and again. We have rented several places from different companies over the years, no house or company have been anywhere close to as great as these were.

Our stay at 18 Gannet was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by thow close the beach is and the impeccable attention to detail. The property was an oasis of tranquility, with luxurious amenities that surpassed our expectations.The spacious and elegantly decorated living areas invited relaxation, while the fully equipped kitchen was a chef's dream. Every comfort was considered, from plush bedding to top-of-the-line entertainment systems. The beach access was the icing on the cake, allowing us to soak up the sun and enjoy the sound of the waves just steps from our door.We cannot recommend this beachfront paradise highly enough. It is the epitome of luxury and relaxation. We will undoubtedly be returning for future vacations.

The location is awesome. Very close to the beach and a short walk to Coligny circle where shopping and restaurants are located. The main floor is spacious and open. The enclosed porch was ideal for the young kids to watch their own shows and play with their toys. The kitchen has a double oven which was awesome, however, the refrigerator was too small and awkwardly laid out. Beachside was awesome to work with and was able to accommodate our groups last minute need to change our dates due to my error when booking. They responded to any questions almost immediately.

Great location, minutes from shops and dining and less that a 1 minute walk to the beach. House was exactly as described and we will be back!

This place was perfect for our group! Fantastic location (steps from the beach but hidden amongst the amazing ancient trees). The house is nice but has a homey feel; it’s very comfortable with small children. And even though it’s surrounded by other larger properties it feels very secluded (especially the pool area). 2 Thumbs up on this one!

Just as advertised and extremely well managed. Location ideal - steps to beach and 10 minutes to restaurants but quite quiet and private at the same time. Pet friendly as well, great for early morning outings on beach. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and we didn’t want to live. While it is surrounded by ridiculously large new mansions, this place has a bit of an old school beach town charm to it. Don’t change a thing!

Great property! Dated but super convenient.

We were very satisfied with our stay at this property. The pool was the perfect size for our group of 6. The walk to the beach was 2 minutes and so convenient. The area of the beach was not too crowded. Also, the proximity to Coligny square (10 min walk) was handy for shopping and food.

The house is perfect for more than one family and for kids. It’s nice but not “ don’t touch this or that “ nice. In other words, very family friendly. The rooms are separated in a way that allows for plenty of privacy when needed. The kids loved night swimming and loved the lights in the pool . We loved that we could walk from beach to house with ease - wasn’t uncommon for the kids to run back on their own for some forgotten item . This is by far my favorite location on the island. Could the house use some cosmetic upgrades ? Yes. Did it affect our stay ? Not a bit ! Great service from rental company ( THANKS Quinn!). We will be back !

House is quite suitable for a family that needs four bedrooms. The pool was clean, but cold because it is primarily in the shade. The air conditioner in the lower bedroom needs to be updated as it is noisy. Even with the AC off, though, the room was cool during a hot week.

The house suited our family of 9 well with room to spare. The 4 bedrooms easily accommodated the 3 couples and 3 children in our group. We went to the beach and swam in the pool every day and Coligny Square was a short walk or bike ride. Great location.

Overall the home was great! 

Terrific house and 50 yards to the beach. We cooked or got take-out every night to avoid crowds and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beach wasn't crowded either. Had an excellent family vacation.

18 Gannet provided the perfect background for a wonderful week.

Enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the private pool. Kitchen was well stocked and updated. Propane grill was a nice amenity.
