157 Mooring Buoy

We loved our stay on Hilton Head! The place looks great and is only a half block from the super expansive beach! We had a wonderful, chill time and I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful spot nestled in Palmetto Dunes. Welcoming home with a terrific layout. Enticing, sunny Carolina Room perfect for morning coffee. Ideal for beach walks, biking, and pickleball.

We picked this property because we wanted to be close to the beach without breaking the budget. While modest from the outside, the interior was perfect for our family of 5. Not having a pool wasn’t an issue with the beach across the street. One of the only down sides was that we were there during a tropic storm and the driveway sat with 4” of water most of the remaining days. Also the back 3 season porch was unbearable in terms temperature, but it’s to be expected for Hilton head in August. Summer is not one of the three season.

“Mimi’s Place” was a wonderful HHI location for our last trip before sending our 2 youngest kids off to college. We loved the old school HHI beach house character & charm with all the modern conveniences one could want. Finally, we also really enjoyed the 2 hours of daily pickleball and the chance to bring our new dog, who loved his first beach trip. We can’t wait to return!

My family and I loved this home. There is a beach access walkway right across from the entrance to the home which was very nice. Something that was also great about the beach access was the lack of people. We almost had the beach to ourselves for 100’ each way. The home itself was in great condition and very roomy. We will definitely be looking for this home again in the future if we go to Hilton Head.

My husband and I work remotely and really enjoyed this house for a two week work-cation. The location is perfect! A 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach with very few other folks. We swam several times a day! The neighborhood was very quiet and great for walking or running. The layout of the house was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. I enjoyed morning coffee in the Carolina room, or screened-in porch. We played tennis and pickleball at the excellent Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center. Loved the pros and clinics there. Excellent restaurants in the area. Beachside getaway was an excellent host and very easy to communicate with.

We love this house for our family of 4 and visitors. The accessibility to the beach is awesome. Everything you might need at your stay is there. We would definitely come back!

Overall this property is as shown on the site. The walk to the beach is SO short. Great location for that reason. Had everything we needed to cook. We rented bikes close by. We had a lovely stay.

We had a comfortable stay at 157 Mooring Buoy. The house was well maintained and clean. My family enjoyed both golf courses and being close to the beach.

Easy walk to an uncrowded beach. This house is located in a beautiful section of Palmetto Dunes The house was very comfortable with many areas for gathering together or for finding a cozy spot to read or just relax alone for a minute. Plenty of comfortable seating and beds. The house was well supplied by the host. It had everything that u might need during your stay. It was an easy place to enjoy yourself and have a relaxing time.

This house was located on a beautiful street and section of Palmetto Dunes. It was such an easy walk to the beach. The house was fully stocked with everything you needed. Extremely cozy for family time and games in the evening. We loved every minute.

The property was clean and well appointed. Just a very short walk from the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. Property manager kept in touch with us inquiring about any needs on a regularly basis. We spent a very good time there.
