117 Dune Lane- The Bluebell

Our second stay in this beautiful house didn’t disappoint. It’s not only well maintained, but the beds, linens and furniture are super comfortable. You could run a restaurant out of the fully stocked kitchen that even includes blenders, bake ware and a crock pot. The covered patio next to the pool was perfect for some elderly family members, and access to the beach was a breeze. The staff at the rental agency was so responsive even after hours and on the weekend with even the smallest question. We hope to stay again soon!

We have stayed in homes managed by Beachside Getaway for the last 3 years and have been very satisfied. There have been minor issues at the homes that have been very quickly addressed by Beachside. Quinn has been our regular contact and is always very helpful. This year Merrie was also helpful with a hot tub related issue. We will be staying with Beachside again next year.

This property was amazing! Every part of it was perfect for my family. The floor plan was great. Three bedrooms upstairs, three bedrooms downstairs, and great living spaces on both floors. There’s a beautiful view from the deck with plenty of comfortable seating options in both upper and lower outdoor spaces. The pool and hot tub were the perfect size and kept clean throughout our stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes/pots/pans. The house was in a quiet and secluded neighborhood as well. We had neighbors on all sides but felt we had the beach all to ourselves the whole week! We can’t say enough good things about this property and our stay!

We were there for my moms’s 96 birthday. We had a great time, were right on the beach. The pool was great and sunrise and sunsets were wonderful. Perfect location and the communication with Beachside was great!!

The house was really lovely. It’s really close to downtown Hilton head but felt private and secluded. It’s right on the beach which was really the highlight for us. The house accommodated our large family well and we all slept great with plenty of room for everyone. The pool was great and we had it heated for the week, it took a few days for it to be warm enough to really swim in but the kids really enjoyed it. There was some trouble with the spa but beachside was easy to communicate with and had someone come fix it right away. Overall, we loved the house we had a wonderful family vacation.

Definitely the best rental we’ve stayed at- great beds, linens, fully stocked kitchen, lovely furniture plus extras like beach towels, pool toys, game closet, coolers and more! The oceanside location can’t be beat, and the rental agent was responsive and thorough. This was our second visit and hopefully we can return again soon.

Perfect home on the beach with a private pool and walking distance to town. We would walk the beach each morning to grab coffee in Coligny plaza and walk back on the sidewalk through the town to the home. What a gorgeous walk and so close to everything! Tons of space, lots of clean towels and pool toys for the kids. We did choose to heat the pool which was well worth it, so even in the cooler mornings or evenings it was the perfect temperature. Definitely check out Hilton Head Social Bakery or Nectar (went there 3 times) for breakfast, Amazing! We also LOVED Taqueria El Poltrero, Jinya ramen & of course and cult favorite Skull Creek Boathouse!

Great vacation home, short walk to the beach, close to stores/restaurants, well cleaned and kept home with all that you need, comfy beds and wonderful to work with property team. We had a couple of very minor questions and they were all over it. An added bonus the pool was heated which was perfect! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend.

Second time here & we love it. Perfect for kids & families! Will be back again!

Perfect location, great ocean views

Our group of 13 had a wonderful week at this house. The kitchen was fully stocked with more than any house we’ve stayed in before. The beds and linens were comfy and soft which isn’t always the case with rentals. We loved the open floor plan and pool level living room for the kids. The house looks a bit small and dated from the outside but the interior is up to date and well maintained. Perfect location for walks or biking to Coligny. The rental company checked on us several times but we didn’t have a single issue. Easy 5 star rating from our crew. Definitely Recommend.

The location was perfect. Easy access to beach and pool worked well. Open area upstairs met all our needs to keep family together for fun. All items were working well and only other benefit would be a large ice maker to avoid daily trips out for cold drinks at pool. The suppliers for rental were top-notch and helped with all issues including good suppliers for rental equipment for even more fun. Thanks for including linens, saves on packing. The ONLY improvement would be no steps to the beach access so easier access with beach wagon. But, the neighborhood access is on other side of fence, so we just went through the front. We will need space for more people next year, but we will recommend you to anyone needing space for ~12 people.

The house is located away from the crowded parts of the beach. The house was very comfortable for our family of 5 couples and 2 toddlers and 2 babies. We ony had one issue with the A/C upstairs not working. When we called they responded immediately and had it repaired within the hour. We would return again

We had a wonderful experience with this property ! It was in a great location with great beach views. The house was very well maintained and well stocked with everything you could need.  Everyone was wonderful and responsive . We will be back !!

Our family of kids 8-10yo, parents & grandparents thoroughly enjoyed our week at that spot. Beautiful ocean views and easy beachfront access. Well-appointed kitchen. Fantastic heated pool & attached hot tub. Only snafu was lack of clear instructions for hot tub & pool operation and brief issue with chlorinator, but Beachside Getaway staff and pool service company were prompt in their responses. Will highly recommend this spot!

The layout of the property was absolutely perfect. Great view of the ocean and only a short walking distance away. We had 6 children there, age ranges 2 years to 6 years, they had a great time. 

We couldn't have been more pleased with our week at the beach and the property was great. Had some issues with the hot-tub controls, but management was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Even better than the pictures, this huge home was perfect for our family to reunite for a relaxing beach week. The super wide beach was steps away and the pristine, secluded pool was perfect for evening fun. The kitchen was well stocked for large parties and had just about any cooking item you could need. Clean, comfy, quiet - will definitely rent again!

Great house and great location

Perfect location on the quiet stretch of Forest Beach and only a short bike ride to Coligny. An abundance of outdoor seating. The shallow end of the pool was wonderful for our small children. The kitchen was better stocked than my kitchen at home. Had absolutely everything we needed. Will definitely stay at this house again.

The house was great - in terms of location and set up. The only improvements I would suggest is to get better liens. It is a very easy fix and I would have given this place a 5 star review if they could get better bed linens. Management company had the cleaning people drop off new sheets but they were still stiff/scratchy. Also it would have been nice if the downstairs master had an en-suite bathroom.

Great Location, a section of the beach with less crowd. The home had everything for a wonderful time.

This was our first experience staying directly on the beach and it was a real treat. You're far away from the public access and big resorts to have a mostly private setting when on the sand. The pool is much bigger than other houses in the area and the extended ledge is great for young children.

We rented 117 Dune Lane for a week at the end of July for our family of 7 adults and 3 children, ages 1-60. Located on N. Forest Beach, it’s an easy one-mile bike ride to Coligny Circle where there are restaurants, shops, and ice cream stores. With 3 bedrooms and a living space on each floor, it’s a perfect house for families. One bedroom is designed for children with 2 bunk beds and their own TV. The bathrooms are updated. The house is nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Dining table seats 10 comfortably plus counter bar stools. The large capacity washer and dryer were the best I have ever had in a rental. The house is just steps to the beach. This part of the beach was never crowded as the house is set amongst other individual homes, approximately halfway between the public beach near Coligny Circle and a resort. The outdoor space is great. Larger pool with a shelf on one end, perfect for our grandsons to play on. 8 comfortable lounge chairs by the pool. Upper deck over looks pool and beach, with an outdoor table that seats 6 plus rockers and loungers. The lower patio, shaded by the upper deck, has another table with 6 seats. We rented bikes for the week at a discount from the place the owner suggested and couldn’t have been happier. She was also helpful with golf course suggestions. The rental company was quick to respond to any questions or issues before and during our stay. We do have a few suggestions. This is the first beach house we have rented that didn’t have beach/sand chairs and an umbrella. The outside patio and deck are spacious, but the tables on each level just seat 6. We wished there was a larger table outside so that we could have eaten dinner together on the deck.  Great house and pool plus beach. We loved our stay at this house and would definitely recommend it!

My five children and 6 grandchildren had such a wonderful time here! The view is hard to beat and the house was well stocked with necessities, beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the pool and easy beach access. Management responded immediately to any issue we had. One thing with toddlers on the upper deck, the safety cables around the rails can snap off without a great deal of pressure, keep little one away from the rails, we put up a big playpen for them most of the time. We had so much fun, thank you!!!

Great location on the beach. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Perfect for large families!

The property was perfect for our use. We had 10 people, ranging from ages 1 to 87, with plenty of room to spread out. The house was very clean and provided amenities enjoyable for everyone. The layout was perfect for napping children as well as provided plenty of entertainment for them as well (especially the unique pool). Great access to the beach and view of the ocean from upper level! Great location on HHI (10 minutes to either Salty Dog Cafe or Harbortown). Everyone had a great time and we would definitely come back.

Even though a hurricane was looming, we had a fabulous time at 117 Dune. Large enough home for 9 adults to have their own space with plenty of bathrooms for 5 women to get ready! And the outdoor spaces were beautiful. Especially enjoyed sitting on the top deck looking at the ocean. Just steps from the beach so very easy to run back for a quick snack. We loved it and hated to leave!

Such a great time

Perfect weather added to our enjoyment of Bluebell and the North Forrest Beach. The layout allowed the little ones to enjoy the pool and beach and hangout in the lower level, while the adults could enjoy the upper level after the kids were sleeping. The location on the beach was also away from the fray, but a quick walk north or south put you around a lot of activity.

We cannot say enough of how perfect it was. Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Family fun for all. Ages from 2 to 67. 12 of us and never felt crowded. Just beautiful! We will be back!
