The first thought to many when it comes to Hilton Head is our beach. But if not the beach, certainly the next best things we are known for are golf and tennis!
There are tons of golf courses on the Island, but if you want to get a good tee time at Harbour Town or Robert Trent Jones, you must book in advance!
Same goes with the Palmetto Dunes Racquet Club. Make sure to claim the early-morning court times for tennis or pickleball, before it gets too hot!

Two airports service Hilton Head Island: The Savannah Airport and the Hilton Head Airport.
Both have witnessed a dramatic increase in demand over the past few years. Due to this increase, you should plan for a minor level of difficulty securing airport transportation on arrival day.
We recommend booking a ride in advance so there isn't any trouble getting from the airport to your vacation rental.

Hilton Head has a thriving food scene with tons of options. Many places cater to large groups but will only seat people in a first come, first serve fashion. So, if you do not want to wait, make sure to make reservations!
Same goes for intimate settings. During the summer, the best restaurants fill up quick! In the off season, you may get lucky, but its always best to prepare.
