Exploring Pinckney Island

Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge, located at the northern tip of Hilton Head Island, is a location full of Lowcountry history and natural beauty. Kayaking Jarvis Creek

Family Freshwater Fishing

Enjoy a relaxing morning by the beautiful lakes of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve with Family Freshwater Fishing, on Tuesdays and Thursdays of February. Watch for turtles, alligators and birds while you fish for catfish, crappie and bream. Supplies and instructions provided at this catch and release program. Sea Turtles, By Land and By Sea

A close look at the offshore sea turtle research conducted by the SCDNR.
